Director of both programs is the Rev. M. Earl Cun ningham, director of leadership education at the Methodist General Board of Education in Nashville. Tuesday's speakers will be Miss Mary Alice Jones, Nashville, at 11 a m. on "How Much Bible Can Children Understand?" and Bishop John Wesley Lord, Boston, Mass., at 8 p. m. on "The Family in a Chaotic World." Miss Jones, who holds a Ph, D. degree from Yale University, re cently joined the Methodist Boan of Education as director of child ren's work. Previously, she was children's book editor for Rand, McNally & Co. Bishop Lord pre sides over Methodism's New Eng land episcopal area. He held past orates in his native New Jersey prior to his election as a bishop In 1948. The platform speakers Wednes day will be Dr. Edward D. Staples, Nashville, at 11 a. m. and Dr. Waights G. Henry, Jr., president of LaGrange College, LaGrange, Ga., at 8 p. m. Dr. Henry's subject will be tendents in nine southeastern states and Cuba at the closing ses sion of the group's annual meet ing at Lake Junaiuska. ; He succeeds the Rev: J. Dallas Bass, district superintendent at Nashville, Tenn. New president of the Methodist pastor's conference, southeastern jurisdiction, is the Rev. Clare Cot ton of Tallahassee, Fla. He succeeds the Rev. D. D. Holt, Durham, N. C. Pastors held their annual meeting jointly w'ilh the district superinten dents. The Rev. J. His subject will be "Living Dollars.'
