ARRINGTON Presbyterians Plan Holy Week Special Services The Presbyterians of llazelwood will be holding special Holy Week services next week at the Hazel-] wood Presbyterian Church, it was announced today by the Session of the Church. The services will be conducted by the pastor the Rev. Archie C. Graham each even ing Sunday through Friday at 7.30 The public is invited. The series will be based on the I last week of Jesus' earthly life. ? Each day following the correspond ing day of that week. The subjects are as follows: "Sunday?A Day of Triumph": Monday?A Day of Authority": "Tuesday?A Day of Opposition"; "Wednesday?A Day of Silence"; "Thursday? A Day of ! Communion"; and "Friday?A Day : of Suffering." The services are planned for the j spiritual enrichment of the con j gregation, and as an opportunity of reaching the members on the inactive roll of the church and re storing them to active participa tion in the work of Jesus Christ. These services will lead up to the Easter Morning Service "He Is Risen!" Zion Church Pays Debts, Plans New Rectory The Mt. Zion Methodist Church paid the balance of a $5,000.00 in debtedness for remodeling the church building this week, it was announced by the Rev. A. H. Davis, pastor of the Crabtree Methodist Charge. It is planned to sell the parson age and begin construction of a hew one immediately. This decis ion was reached in a recent meet-j ing of representatives from all the i churches on the charge, including j ' Mt. Zion, Davis Chapel, Fincher's | Chapel and Crabtree. Mr. Davis also announced that Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Plemons.
