The total pig crop this year is
indicated to be three per cent
greater than in 1940 and one per
cent above the 1936-45 average.
Hie spring pig crop was only
slightly greater than a year earlier
but the fall fcrop probably will
show a somewhat larger increase,
according to BAE.
