Watchful waiting Someone once wrote, “They also serve who only sit anti: wait ” Trixie, the male terrier of the R. C. Minnis Jr. family, seems to fit this description. All day long, passersby on the back side of court square in Hillsboro see the dog sitting either on the top of the hood of a parked automobile near the corner. Minnis works out of town and rides most of the time with others in a car pool, leaving his own car parked downtown. According to the family. the dog leaves home after Minnis goes to work, goes and sits on the car all day, and returns home just shortly before the time for Min nis to return. 1 hey got the dog about three years ago from the County pound.
