BjosemoYid. ‘The Club voted to. sponsor a simmer band program for play ing members of the band to be instructed by Bob Haas, Hillsboro Band Director. This program 'w.ill start on Monday, June 5, and Will run five days per week from ®:30 to-10 a.m., .ending on July 30. Outdoor concerts will be sched uled throughout the program The Club decided that a be ginners band program would be held in conjunction with the sum mer band only if enough parents expressed a desire for their chil dren to start instrumental mu sic this summer. Cameron Park to have j music week programs ■ National Music Week will be observed at Cameron Park School by a free band and -choral con cert Saturday night at 8 o’clock. A program for some of the grades at Cameron Park will be given Friday at 1 p.m. Sixteen j piano pupils of Mrs. Harry L. I Brown will give the life of a few of the composers of the .classical and romantic era followed by a piano number of each composer. ! Special mention will be made of '■ WacDowell, an American I composer whose hundredth anni-' versary will be observed this year.
