JluulcS ; Meetings During Week Featured By Interest ing Programs t ^ jv: V ;ij Potted cyclamens, poinsettias, ivy and primroses have predominated in home decorations, used by hostesses daring* the week, and have, together with open fires and soft lights, pro vided the meetings with a colorful and cheery setting, contrasting sharp ly with the dready skies and ice enr cased foliage on the outside. Featuring the program of the Mer ry Matrons meeting, held on Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. W. M. Willis as hostess, was a delightful talk on Art by Mrs. Gosa Hearne, a Greenville artist, who is winning repute as a portrait painter. Bringing the pro gram to a delightful dose were piano selections by Mrs. M. V. Jones, Holding chief interest in ths busi ness session was the election of the following new officers: Mrs. R. Le Rdy Rollins, president; Mrs. Alton W. Bobbitt, vice president; Mrs. John T. Thorns, secretary; Mrs, R. 0. Lang, treasurer.
