the memorial building. Mr. Daniels

About four years aro a campalsn
was started to raise ■ fund for the
purchase of a lot and erection of a
community building as a fitting trib
ute lo the Wayne County boys who
served In the World War. Owing to
the financial depression that followed
our llrat efforts, only a part of the
amount pledged was collected A
board of trustees was elected by the
subscribe re and Instructed by them
to apply this amount tIIHiOTHM to the
purchase of the later lot. at the
corner of Walnut and William
Streets. In the belief that the time
would come when the project o erect ■
