(A Postal Card will do.) Since the election is a thing of the past there are several things that our people should turn their atten tion to. The matter of draining our creeks and thereby reclaiming waste lands and Improving health condi tions Is of prime Importance. It would not be a bad idea for our cit izens to begin to think about the es tablishment of a creamery, an in dustry which is very much needed and for which there is a splendid Held here. Our farmers should plan to raise more corn and more togs In order that they may free themselves from the power of the meat trust The ladies of the Woman's Better ment Association, and especially those constituting the committees having the matter in charge, are to be congratulated on the success of their first annual floral fair held last week. From every standpoint It not only came up to their expectations but even surpassed them. They cleared a little more than $300 and no doubt could have increased that amount to $500 easily had sufficient preparation been made in the mat ter of providing articles for sale. The public accorded the fair splen did patronage, thereby giving en couragement to an institution which promises to become one of the most prominent annual affairs in the town. Here's wishing the ladles even larger success In the future. The table showing the official vote of the county In Tuesday's elec tion could not be completed in time Tor this Issue without delaying the mailing of the paper, and will ap pear in Tuesday's Gazette next week.
