France, Do . ti. My Dear Sister: I will try to send y hi a few lines by a soldier to mail in the States. I am well and having a nice time. I have liven here in Limoges in a base hospital since the latter part of Oct. I am working here now. We can go to town almost every day. A French town is much ipieerer than an American town, and not as nice. I have been in France almost ti months. I left Hoboken, N. J., June 2oth and landed in Liverpool dock the night of July 1st and left the ship on July wild. I came over on a big British vessel, the Or dnna. A convoy of 13 vessels ami a bat tleship accompanied us until we met a fleet of destroyers. We went to the front in August on the St. Mihiel front close to Tool.
