Til" UNIVERSAL CAR NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC. On November 18th, 1919, by mutual consent, the firm of J. A. Blackwood and Co., was dis solved. All who are indebted to the said firm are requested to make immediate payment to B. H. Parker, who has acquired all its interests, and who assumes the payment of all it3 obligations. Mr. J. A. Compensation Law Held Unconstitutional - (By Th Associated Press) NASHVILLE, TENK., Nor. 25. Judge A. G. Rutherford, in the first eir euit eourt, today held the workmen 's com pensation law, enacted by the last legis lature, unconstitutional. Among the objections urged by the court against the statute were that it was class legislation, not equally applicable to all members of the same class, that it did not give the employe adequate reme dy, deprived the parties of the right to trial by jury, and was compulsory and not elective, as it purported to be.
