HOMECOMING Homecoming Day at Sandy Grove Church Sunday was a flea day in many ways. Agood nulhber of friends and former members joined the group for thd Sunday School and Church Service, followed by a picnic lunch on the church lawn. The Rev. S. T. Kimbrough deliver ed the sermon. Flowers for the sanctuary were given by the Glisson and McFadyen families as memorials. The Rev. and Mrs. I. J. Straw- bridge, who served this church several uears ago. wwre spe cial guests. Sandy Grove was one of the hardest hit Methodist church es in this area during the hall storm this summer. On the Fall Homecoming Day, which for the past three years has replaced the annual Ingather ing, most of the church bud get for the year Is met as a majority of the membership is composed of farmers. The ADW offense occured July 26 and the trupus charge wu for October 11. A Juvenile offender, picked up with McLauchlin, was reman ded to the Juvenile Court pre sided over by Judge M. D. Yates.
