Wallace McLean, Mrs. Jackie Grumpier and Mrs. Hal ley Blytlie were hostesses for a bridal party honoring Miss Mary McLean of Marietta. Ga., daughter of Mayor and Mrs. Raymond McLean of Raeford. . The party was held Tuesday night at the Blythe home. The hanoree was presented a corsage of white carnations and a gift of silver. Coffee, bridal cakes, mints and nuts were served. Miss McLean will be married to the Reverend Wyatt Aiken Jr. of Greenville, S. C. on March 13 in the First Presby terian Church of Marietta. Raehrd Medical. Group Honors Horry McLeans Dr. and Mrs. Riley Jordan, Dr. and Mr?. Bob Townsend and Dr. and Mrs. Julius Jor dan served as hosts for Rae ford Medical Groupdinner party Saturday night honoring a form er colleaoue, Dr. Harry Mc Lean, and Mrs. McLean. Dr. McLean is now with the state Public Health Service. Twenty-five were present for the seafood meal at the Little Whale Restaurant. Red potted geranium!! and red lanterns were used for decoration down the length of the tables which were covered with red and white check cloths. Before dinner Dr. Jordan and Dr. Townsend proposed toasts to Dr. McLean, wishing him success and happiness in his new position. The McLeans received a gift of sUver from the group. Mrs. A. B. Dickson made the presentation. She served a dessert course when guests ar rived, Prl es went to Mrs. T. C. Scarborough for club high and to Mrs. Mcfadyen for visitors hiJi. Lesters Host Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Lester were hosts for their couples bridge club on Saturday night with all members present. Mrs. Leonard Frahm won the high score prize. Tidbits and iced drinks were served during the game, and cake and coffee at the end of the evening. Mrs. Tapp The Coca-Cola Bridge Club met with Mrs. Frank Tapp Wednesday afternoon of last week. Visitors were Mrs. N. L. McFadyen, Mrs. John Nich olson and Mrs. Clyde L'pchurch. Refreshments were served before the game. The hi ;h score went to Miss Maude Poole. Mrs. Bruketa Mrs. Al Bruketa entertained club members and visitors with three tables of bridge last Wednesday night. She served pastries and iced drinks. Club visitors were Mrs. Ralph Barnhart, Mrs. Carlton Niven, Mrs. Neill McFadyen Jr., Mrs. Bobby Carter, Mrs. Ronald Osborne and Mrs. Dave Winstead. The club high score prize went to Mrs. John Reid Davis and visitors high was won by Mrs. Osborne. Club consola tion went to Mrs. Grover Owens and Mrs. Winstead received the visitors consolation. Invitation No formal invitations are being sent in the county! but Mrs. Mary D. McBryde wishes to extend an invitation to friends and relatives to attend the mar riage of her granddaughter, Miss Pamela Ann Smith, to Lester 5esjoms Jr. on March 16 at 3:00 p. m., in the Rae ford Presbyterian Church. Marfha Lynne Wood Birthday Party Martha Lynne Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wood, celebrated her fourth birthday with a party on Saturday after noon.
