Summer meals can be as easy as you want to make them, yet they can have all the distinction of a Croat chef’s skill in cooking if you serve canned spaghetti and meat balls. They come in big cans serv ing five, and they come in smaller dinner-for-two cans, too. So whether you’re a bride or a mother of three, your hearty and satisfy ing summer dinner mainstay is ready with a minimum of time and effort. The smaller can is a special blessing for the woman who has to plan good main dishes for two, day after day. Steaks and chops, of course, are a good choice for two; but they are expensive. Chef Boy-ar-dee spaghetti and meat balls, for example, cost only about fourteen cents a serving, When .you serve a spaghetti and meat balls dinner, whether it’s for two or a crowd, remember that crusty bread or rolls add Rood tex ture contrast. Corn on the cob, green beans, peas, are all appetiz ing vegetables with the? spaghetti, with a green salad or raw vege table sticks for freshness. Cole slaw in green pepper boats can serve as the combined vegetable and salad. Cote Slow In Green Pepper Boots Wash and dry crisp, shiny green peppers. Cut in half, remove set'el and inside skin. Shred crisp cab bage. Mix lightly with French dressing and a little mayonnaise, if desired. Pile the cabbage into the green pepper boats and spi-i kle with chopped parsley or da pi mien to or green pepper.
