Simmons last night delivered an address
at the Court House. There was a large
audience and a number of ladies graced
the occasion by their presence... Before
the address "Carolina" was started and
the orowd joined In the song. . ' -

introduced the speaker and drew ap-
phrase by references to C. B. Aycock as
the next Governor and to -F. M. Sim
