the killing, i a doubtless familiar to
every citizen of Craven county, being
as it was one of the groin eit miscarti
ages of )usi ice ever perpetrated in the
State. Mr Avery wai urged by his
friends to sue Bryan and steps were at
once taken toward this end. The
sheriff attached considerable property
belonging to Bryan and this is now in
his hands and will doub less be disposed
of and the proceeds of the sale turned
over to Mr. Avery at an early date.
