A little over a year ago Frank died ; and on last Saturday 18th or May 1891, Walter's spirit passed into the company of his brother to be "forever with the Lord." Frank was attacked by diphtheria, and in a very few days yielded to death. Walter was sfflicted with a spi nal trouble which lasted most of his little life, and resulted at last in men ingitis. In the events of every day life we are often reminded of some old adage. In the death of these two child ren, one about four and the other three years old, we are reminded of that old saying, ''Death loves a sbioing mark." Tnese two children wete beautiful in faoe and (especially Frank), and bright in mind. If what Hilton says be true: "The childhood shows the man As morning shows the day.'1 then what these two boys might havs become had they lived to manhood ws can better imagine than describe. But they have not lived in vain. Their 's was not a waeted life. They ac complished some good by their short stay on earth. And who can doubt but they can better serve the purpose of an All Wise God where they are? Their earthly life is ended, but not their earthly mission. In her dsrk night of sorrow, the bereaved mother ithe Lord comfort her) may feel that "Angel faces watch my pillow, angel voices haunt my sleep, And upon the winds of midnight shin ing pinions round me sweep; Floating downward on the starlight two bright infant forms I see They are mine, my own bright darlings come from heaven to visit me. One earthly child still smiles upon me, but these little ones above Were the first to stir the fountiics of a mother's deathless love, And I cannot feel forsaken, tho' 'reft of earthly love, Angel ohildren call me 'motherland my soul will look above.
