BABY'S PRATTLE JOGS MEMORY Enables Mother, Taken From Train, To Recall Name. Ottawa, Kan., June.13 Through the prattle of her 2-year-old daughter, playing beside her in a sanitorium here, Mrs. Eunice Ake, of Orville, Cat., who was taken from a Missouri Pacific train here Tuesday in a state of unconcsiousness, was able today to recall her identity and give her attend ants her name. Mrs. Ake was on her way to visit friends in Brazil, Ind. When taken fr6m the train there was a bruise on her face. She recovered consciousness yesterday, but could not remember her name. Today, as the child was playing about Mrs. Ake's bed, a nurse asked the little girl her name. "Baby, Ake" she lisped. The mother has not been able to recall receiving a bruise or the cause of her becoming unconscious on the train. GAYNOR WOULD RUN AGAIN Says He Is A Man Without Party Looks To Fusionists. New York, June 13. Mayor Wil- Ham J. Gaynor is willing to run for re - election. In a statement issued today he made this announci ment and spoke of the prospect of his running for a second term. "Unless the fusionists nominate me," he sad, "I am out in the cold, unless some good peopUi get together, who think I have done pretty well, and nominate me by petition. . . Whoever owns a lot, any part of which adjoins any street wherein there is the city sewer, shall connect said lot, with the city sewerage system. If any lot owner shall neglect, or refuse to connect such lot with sewerage sys tem after five days notice so to do such owner, or to such owner's agent, which notice in case of non-residence may be given in a newspaper published in the county, the chairman o'the sani tary committee, shall cause such lot o be properly arranged for health pur peses and such connection to be prop erly made at the least possible expense to the owner consistent with sanitary and health precautions; and said chair man is authorized and empowered to enter with his servants upon such pre mises for the purpose of making such arrangements and connection. The expense of such arrangements and con nection shall be paid by the owner of the lot, and shall be a lien upon said lot and if not paid on demand, such lot shall be sold by tb tax collector of the city to pay such e ase and costs as provided by law for tne sale of lands for delinquent taxes. Sec. 27 Whoever lays or1 connects any sewer or drain pipe so as to drain ' ' human excrement from any water closet or privy into any public ditch, acqueduct, drain or sewer other than the regular city sewerage system, and every person who aids or abete in any violation of this section, shall be deemed guiltv of a misde meanor ,and shall, on conviction there of, be fined fifty dollars, or shall be v mprisoned thirty days. Sec. 28 .Whoever maintains an surface privy after the 30th dav of - une, 1913, in an unsanitary con dition, or that is not fly-proof, shall be fined the sum of five dollars. And each day any privy is maintained or permitted to exist in violation hereof shall constitute a separate offense. Sec. 29. All surface privies here ter constructed shall be in r.ccor- ance with the specifications adopted by 'the North Carolina State Board of Health.
