When a boy sees a soldier, he wants to Join the amy; when he sees a drum major, he wants to be a drum major. One of the best ideals to hold before your boy's mind is a prosperous citizen vho saves part of his income and puts the money in the band. Teach your boy to go to the bank and to deposit his money. This will give him a good ideal to keep before him. 4 PER CENT PAID ON SAVINGS AC COUNTS, COMPCUNDED QUARTERLY. V I 4 ' 1 7S jit I .3u": 'plllpiil 0 (i C! r Si 1 ten. Hackburn Phone 190 I Last Sunday was a day that will be long remembered by those who attend ed the Tabernacle Tent meetings. The day was crowded with good things from first to last. Rev. J. B. Phillips preached at the 1 1 o'clock service especially to Christ ians from the words' of the Greeks to Philip in the 12th Chapter of John: "Sir, we would see Jesus." This was a very impressive service. At 4:30 p.m. there were two services, Mrs. J. P. Brown spoke to a large gathering of women and children in the Christian Church. At the same hour Mr. Phillips spoke to men only under the tent. These two services were greatly blessed of God, and those who attended went away rejoicing. The service at night was the greatest of the entire meeting so far. Mr. and Mrs. Borwn conducted a song service which was greatly enjoyed by the large congregation which filled the tent and overflowed on the seats on the outside. At the close ot the song service Mr. Phillips preached on "Pre pare to meet thy God." This service reached the high water mark, and at tne close, when the invitation was eiven for unitinz with the church. 21 new members wero received and large number requested prayer. The leaders of the meeting arc looking for great things this week. The meet in j will continue this week with a ni mbe of prayer meetings over the city ea'.- afternoon and Dreachimr at the tent each night, song service Ijcginnuij; at 7:45. :rj?.nus & co.
