The girls gathered at school at 6:30 to go caroling at the Kenans ville Hospital. Favors were given to all patients in the Hospital. The group returned to Wanda's home for the party. Some 30 units participated, including both commercial and non-commercial t entries, horses and riders, is, bands, beauty queen con its, fire fighting rescue and units and even Santa Claur elf. is Joan Walker of Al aeitso' was crowned queen. Brewer Diug dorr.pany "was her sponsor. JTirst r^nner-up was Judy Blizzard and second runner-up Grace Howard. MM. Frank Finney, Mrs. John Wilkerson and Mrs. Rodolph Page were judges. A 'float from the Moss Hill Scho ol Community took first prize in that ; division with the ' Brewer Drug Co. float taking second i place. The FFA boys float won third! place. In t)je Clown division, Oliver No ble was over-all winner, a First Aid gipup took second prize, and Junior Howard came out third. A ptffy cart sponsored by Pot ter's Hill Milling Co. placed first in the Children's division. The parade termini ted at the school, where the queen was cro wned and all parade prites were awarded. Course Bob Hood, Pharmacist at Pre wer Drug Company in Pink Hill has recently completed a post graduate course on Central Ner vous System Drugs, taught in Williamston by members of the Department o f Pharmacology, Duke University, directed by Ass't Dean M.
