Eastern Star Met A Christmas Program was pre sented here on Tuesday night when Kenarsville Chapter No. 215. Order of the Eastern Star met at 7:30 in the Chapter Room. The program was in charge of Mrs. N. B. Bopey assisted by Mrs. CoJon Holland, Mrs. R'lby C. Newto", Mrs. Horten se Hasty and Mrs. Florence Brown also Mrs. Thelma B. Vurphy. Dur ing the social hour Christmas Car ols were sung., led by Mrs. Amos Brio son with Miss Mary Lee Sykes at the piaro. The refreshment com mittee served fruit cake topped with whipped cream, accompanied with coffee. Later gifts were ex changed from the Christmas tree. The joint hostesses were Mrs. P. T. Heath, Mrs. Mildred Brewer, Mrs. I. T. Grady, Mrs. Don Parnell, Mrs. 1. J. Wells and Mrs. E. V. Vestal. A Christmas motif was used throughout the 'Building with the exception of the refreshment table which featured the bridal theme, in arrangements of white poinsettia I mixed with greenery, flanked gdth white lighted" tapers". 'She Is the honorees room-mate as they both teach school in Wilmington.
