A - Effective Jan. 1. 1969, Income limitations, which govern financial eligibility for VA pensions and dependency benefits, will be raised $200 for all beneficiaries. Basically, the $100 in crements in tne new VA pen sion structure will mean that maximum VA pension and de pendency and indemnity com pensation benefits will go to veteran, widows and parents with the lowest income. For example, under current law, the monthly VA pension for a veteran with one dependent and and annual income of $1.00 to $1,000 is $109. However, the re-structured pension program will provide payments ranging from $120 a month for an in come of $500 or less to $109 a month for an annual income of $900 to $1,000. And VA monthly pension benefits will be reduced an average of only $3 or $4 for each $100 Increase in income up to the new ceil Ings. 2&KSaEK2? Jgjch ? Jacksonville Sunday Mrs CalUe BAer.
