Cherry reported on safety and gave plans for building storage cabinets to lock up pesticide chemicals. There was adiscussion on arts, crafts, and articles displayed. The collect for club women was prayed to adjourn the meeting. Kaye Goodman and Cathy Pate assisted the hostess in serving short cut frozen salad. Recsnt Bride Honored At Shower Mrs. Ronnie Tadlock the former Kathryn Summerlinwas honored at a Miscellaneous Showe given by a number of friends Tuesday evening in the Fellowship Hall of RootyBranch Church, in the Summerlin Cross Roads Community. The refreshment table was covered in a pink cloth over laid with white lace. The cen terpiece was an arrangement of pink and white flowers and greenery in a silver bowl. Mrs. Nathan Tadlock, Jr., mother of the groom, poured lime punch. Mrs. Herbert J. Summer lin, mother pf the bride, served cake squares. Other re- i freshments consisted of toasted ? pecans and" brfdal mints. Standford Home Extension Club The Standford H. D. Club held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Edd Monk on March 25. 1968. The meeting was of great interest. The club decided on a Community Project of taking blood types of all people in the community. A delicious menu, served by the hostess Mrs. M. Monk consisted of a specially pre pared tuna salad, rltz, cake, coffee or punch. However the meeting clos ed with a suprlse party for the President, Mrs. Eva S. Miller who was full of sparkle. The next meeting will be held April 29, 1968 at the home of Mrs. Pauline Brlnson. Members present were: Mrs. Essie Bryant, Mrs. Annie Southerland, Mrs. Pummie Graham. Mxs?
