Miscellaneous Shower On Saturday. November 23, a miscellaneous shower honor ing Miss Jo Aon Raynor bride elect, was given in the Cedar Fork Community Building. Hostesses were Mrs. VeraMse Raynor Mrs. EX. Turner, and Mrs. Mary Linda Pickett. The bride-elect was pre-: sented a corsage of white mums upon her arrival. The gift table was decorated very pretty. The centerpiece was made of carnations, mums and greenery. Refreshments of cakes, mints, nuts, potato chips, era kers, and pickles were served to the guests. TEX. - Wir rant Officer Caididate Samuel E. Godwin Jr., 20, whose parents live at 301 E. Chelly St., Warsaw, N.C., completed a helicopter pilot course Aug. 30 at die Army Primary Hel icopter School, Ft. Wolters, Tex. During the 16-week course, he was trained to fly < Army '. helicopters and learned to use ' them in tactical maneuvers. He next will undergo ad vanced flight training at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga. Upon completion of advanced training he may be ^pointed a warrant officer. Godwin entered the Army in February of this year and com pleted basic training at Ft. Polk, La. He was graduated in 1966 from James Kenan High School, War saw, and attended Wilmington (OMo) College. John D. Farrior, Jr. (AHTNC) ? Army Specialist Four John D. Farrior Jr., 20, son of Mrs. Ruth L.
