Scott Parker Honored On November 9 little Scott Parker was honored with aparty xi his second birthday given by lis mother, Mrs. Victor Parker. On arrival birthday ?thistles, as favors, were given :o the children. The refresh ment table was covered with a rlappy Birthday cloth and birth lay plates and cups were also ised. The birthday cake was lecorated with blue and white and topped with a mlnature ruck and flags. The guests were served cake, xttato chips, suckers, orange \ :andy and Kool Aid. After 5cott opened his gifts the little ruests enjoyed playing with hero. Adults attending were Mrs. William Earl Mitchell, Mrs. Ion aid Guy, Mrs. Harvey Cul aregh, Mrs. Kenneth Baker, 4rs. Cordon Wilson Tuesday night at he r home. Circle chairman Mrs.Carl ton Smith opened the meeting and led the devotional. Mrs. Carlos Bat is led the program, assisted by Mrs. Shelton Batts, Mrs. Davis Bland and Mrs. Gordon Wilson. There was a short business session after which Mrs. Paul Tucker closed the meeting with prayer. At the close of the meeting the hostess served chicken salad sandwiches, cookies,nuts and punch to the twelve mem bers present. The Polly anna party on Nov ember 17 will take the place of the December meeting. The January meeting will be held with Mrs. L.E. Brown and Mrs. Davis Chestnutt will be in charge of the program. MISSION STUDY CIRCLE NO. 1 met Tuesday morning with Mrs. Annie Rogers. Mrs. Betty Mae Tucker,cir cle chairman opened the me eting and led die devotional and prayer. Mrs. Paul Bass led the pro program Missionary Means which was taught through class participation. There was asen tence prayer, closed by Mrs. Paul Bass. During the business meeting minutes were read and appro ved and the roll called with eight members present. Plans for serving the Sun beavers were discussed, also the Poly anna party to be held December 17 at the Commun ity Building.
