Iresh pineapple slices 1/4 cup hoi water i 3 bananas * 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon butter or margarine Trim excess (at from pork chops and marinate in soy sauce 20 minutes. Brown on both sides in fat trimmed from meat. Place in 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Remove skins from sweetpotatoes. Cut in half lengthwise and place over the chops. Top with pineapple slices. Add hot water to pan drippings and pour over the top. Cover and bake in a preheated moderate oven (350* P) 30 minutes. Peel bananas, cut In half lengthwise and then cut in half crosswise. Arrange over potatoes. Sprinkle with brown sugar and dot with butter or margarine. Place under broiler to brown 3 to 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings. 1 package (18-1/2 ounces) yellow cake mix 4 eggs, at room temperature 1/3 cup salad oil 1/2 cup water 1-1/3 cups mashed bananas (4 medium) 1 package (3-3/4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Mix until blended, then beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Turn batter into greased and lightly floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake in 350*F oven for 1 hour or until cake tester inserted in cake comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then turn out onto rack and cool completely. If desired, dust'with'cori fectioners sugar before serving. Mak^s 16 servings.
