Fanners Home Ad ministration (FmHA) circulated a draft natural resource management guide for review and comment to appropriate federal and state agencies, state and regional review agencies assigned the consultation requirements of Exectutive Order 12372. as well as interested locali ties. groups and citizens. The guide is a brief document of major envi ronmental standards and review requirements that have been prom ulgated at the federal level as well as those that are particular to the state. It provides a listing of natural opportunities and constraints for various land use activities against which proposals for development can be evaluated. Copies can be obtained by writing or telephoning the state office. Any person or organization desir ing to make comments and sugges tions for deletions, additions or corrections is invited to do so. You should be aware that a 30-day period for the submission of public comment will follow the distribution date of the draft guide. This period expires Jan. 21.
