The North Carolina General Assembly
has approved a law to permit the contract
letting for the West Carteret school AT
ONCE. This can be fully paid for from the
tax levy at the current rate beginning July
U%3, without bonded indebtedness.

The County Board of Commissioners
can be required to provide the money for
the West Carteret school under the law, if
for any reason they would go back on their
word and refuse voluntarily to do it.
Why go in debt unnecessarily?
We CAN and WILL have better schools
without bonded debt.
