ROADS, PUERTO RICO (FHTNC) Marine First Lieutenant M. D Atkins, son of Mrs. T. M. Atkins of Pensacola, N. C, participated in a six-week deployment to Rrosevelt Roads, Puerto R'co while ser ving with Marine All-Wea ther Fighter Squadron 235. The deployment was a test of the squadron’s “Cru sader'’ fighter aircraft. The operations emphasized air to-air gunnery and low alti tude missile intercepts. The squadron operates out of Beaufort, S. C. and is an important part of the Marine Corps Air-Ground Team.
