Honor Roll ■ Cathy Briggs, daughter of Mr. and Jay Briggs of Green Mountain, made the 'B n Honor Roll at Steed College in Johnson Gty, Tennessee, last quarter. Cathy is a sophomore major ing in Medical Secretarial Sci ence. She is a member of the Theta Alpha Chi Sorority, Fu ture Secretaries Club, and Me dical Secretaries Club. Banquet Held There will be a banquet on Thursday, May 21, 1970 at 7:00 p. m. in the East Yancey High School Dining Room, ho noring the school-bus drivers of Yancey County. The guest speaker will be Mr. Joe Bennes, Driver Edu cation Representative of Ashe ville. All bus drivers are urged to attend. Chorus Tour Miss Anita Anglin has just returned from a tour with the Lincoln Memorial University Chorus. The Chorus toured through parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania,Vir ginia, and Washington, D. C. Anita is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee Anglin, Box 365, Burnsville, N.C.
