" ch LEGAL NOTICE AN ORDINANCE AUTHOR IZING THE IS S U ANCE OF $230,000 OF BONDS OF THE TOWN OF BURNSVILLE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT AND EN LARGEMENT OF THE WATER SYSTEM MAINTAINED BY THE TOWN. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Burnsville,as follows: Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Burnsville has ascertained and hereby determines that it is necessary that said Town im prove and enlarge the system maintained by the Town to pro vide a supply of water to said Town and its inhabitants by the construction of a water reser - voir together with the necess - ary water transmission mains including the acquisition and installation of the equip ment, machinery and apparatus re - quired for the use of such re servoir as part of the Towni water system and the acquisi tion of the necessary lands or rights-in-land. Section 2. In order to pro vide funds for such purpose, in addition to any funds which may be made available for such purpose from any other source, bonds of the Town of Burnsville are hereby author - ized and shall be issued pur suant to The Mimic ipal Fi nance Act, 1921, of North Carolina. Section 5. A statement of the debl of said Town has been filed with the Town Clerk of said Town, as required by said Act, and is open to public in spection. Section 6. e shall take effect when approved by the voters of said Town at an election to be called and held as provided in said Act. The foregoing bond ordin ance was passed on the 31st day of July , 1970 and was first published on the 6th day of August, 1970.
