He was a lifelong resident of Yan cey County and a retired far ms r. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ben Styles of Burnsville, Mrs. Jim Fox of Morganton, and Mrs. Neal Elliott of Bre - vard} one brother, Landon Styles of Burnsville. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. The Rev. E. G. Adkins officiated and bur ial was in the Styles Cemetery MRS. ATLAS B. HENSLEY Mrs. Atlas B. Hensley, 80, of the Bolens Creek Communi ty died at her home Wednesday morning after a long illness. She was the wife of the Late Wesley B. Hensley who died in * 1960. She is survived by two daugh ters, Mrs. W. A. Higgins of Burnsville and Mrs. John D. Divers of La Plata, Argentina; two sons, Edgar B. and Brooks C. Hensley of Burnsville; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Young and Mrs. Grover Anglin of Burnsville; two brothers, W. M. and Luther Banks of Burnsville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held Friday at 4:00 p. m. in the Bo lens Creek Baptist Church of which she was a member. Rev. Calvin Smith and Rev. Robert Melvin officiated and burial was in the Banks Cemetery. He was a native of Madison County and had re - sided in Yancey County for many years. He was a re tired farmer. He is survived by 5 daugh ters, Mrs. Love Fox, Mis. Hun ter Maney, Mrs. Max Whitson and Miss Bonnie Mclntosh all of Burnsville; Mrs. Robert Ren fro of Green Mountain; three sons, .Roy of Burnsville, Frank of Mars Hill and Ralph of Kins man, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Jack Owens of Augusta, Ga, Mis. Clyde Styles and Miss Pauline Mclntosh of Burnsville and Mb. Ollie Reynolds of St. Augustine, Florida; three bro thers, Harry of Hendersonville, Herman of Man Hill and Solon of Burnsville; fifteen grand children. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p. m. Friday in the West Burnsville Baptist Church. Rev. Fred Harrell officiated and burial was in the Robert - son Cemetery at Bald Creek.
