NOTICE OF SALE OF VALUABLE REAL ESTATE Under and pursuant to the power of sale contained In that certain deed of .trust executed on the 7th day of February, 1949, by X> T. Jones and wife, Bar bara Elizabeth Jones, to L. E. Kor riegay comer; thence along said Kornegay and others line as fol lows: thence S 24-30 W 445 feet, more or less to a stake; thence S 43-15 W 693 feet to a lightwood stake comer; thence S 78-45 W 1584 feet to a comer; thence S 12-40 W 1848 feet to a stake; thence 8 4% W 300 feet to a stake, Amos Jones’ comer; thence N 82% E 2823 feet to a stake; thence S 14% E 750 feet to a stake on the run of White Oak Branch; thence up the run of White Oak Branch about N 80 E 1250 feet, more or less to a stake on the west side of High way No. 41, thence N 10-30 E 759 feet to a stake, thence N 59 W 1636 feet to a stake; thence N 6-30 E 710 feet to a stake; thence N 70-15 E 990 feet to a stake, Ed Craft’s comer; thence with the Craft line N 32 E 200 feet, more or less, to a stake on the south side of the public road, between Thomas’ Branch and Highway No. 41; thence along said public road in a westerly direction 2,000 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, con taining 180 acres, more or less, being a portion of the land con veyed to W. W. Maxwell by H. D. Maxwell and wife, by deed recorded in the Jones County Public Registry. Tract No. 2 BEGINNING at a stake John Miller’s corner and runs N 4% E 560 feet to a stake; Thence S 85 W 300 feet to a stake, Weaver Quinn, corner; thence N 4% E 300 feet to a stake; thence S 85-55 W 1760 feet to a stake on the run of Thomas Branch thence S 15 E 860 feet to a stake; thence S 85-55 E 1400 feet to the begin ning, containing 21 acres, more or less, being a portion of lands purchased by W. W. Maxwell from H. D. Maxwell and wife. The high bidder will be re quired to deposit with the Clerk of Superior Court 10% of his bid pending confirmation of the sale. THIRD TRACT: Beginning at the center of the Kinston Road, there being a stake set in the line on the south side of said road and 18 feet from its center, it runs S. 5-40 W. 2552 feet to a sycamore to the edge of the southwest creek lowgrounds; thence it runs with the said low grounds S. 5-10 E. 352 feet; thence with lowgrounds S. 6-30 W. 336 feet; thence continuing with low grounds S. 2-10 E. 331 feet; thence with the low grounds S. 29-15 E. 340 feet to the Old Ford over Southwest Creek; thence with the South west Creek it runs S. 67-10 W. 480 feet; thence leaving the Creek it runs N. 38-30 W. 580 feet to a stake; thence it runs N. 5-40 E. 5775 feet to the center of the Kinston Road; there be ing a stake in line of the south of the road and 19 feet from the center; thence it runs with the center of the Road S. 71-50 E. 552 feet to the beginning, con taining 52 29-100 acres; this be ing a portion of the tract of land conveyed by E. Johnson’s comer, and runs with his line S. 52-14 degrees 902 feet to a stake, his croner; thence with another of Johnson’s lines S. 9-14 degrees E. 377 feet to a stake, a comer; thence S. 99 E. 90 feet to a stake, the old John son comer in K. W. Loftin’s Une; thence with K. W. Loftin’s line S. 3-45 W. 533 feet to a stake in New Road; thence in a north westwardly direction with New Road about 1725 feet to the Brit ish Road; thence N. 50 E. with the British Road about 975 feet to the point of beginning con taining in all about 24 acres, more or less, and being a part of Lot No. 0 allotted to Ruth C.
