Mattocks spent the holidays in Jacksonville with her sons, Gordon and Lynn Jr., and their families. She is now spending several weeks in Roanolce Va. with her, daughter, Mrs. Tommy Ryan, and family. • • • Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Mattocks visited their son, Lee, and his fam ily in Clinton during the holidays. • e • ; j Mrs. N. N. Mattocks spent Sunday evening and night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Mewborn, and family at Snow Hill. Monday she was joined by the Mewborns, and her son, Fred, and family of Jacksonville at the home of her other son, Randolph, and familly at Rose Hill for a Christ mas family dinner. She returned to Jacksonville Tuesday to visit Fred. Sunday afternoon she visited briefly in Kinston with her sister, Mrs. Ruby Tyndall. • • • Mrs. Alma Shaw is spending some time in Richmond, Va. visiting her sister, Mrs. Dora Hogge. • • • The C. C. Morgans spent sev eral days during Christmas visiting in Portsmouth, Va. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Keeter. * * * Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mills and son, Jerry, were in Kinston Sunday of last week to attend the wedding of Miss Shirley Jenkins to Jerry Tripp. Wednesday Mrs. Mills and Jerry toured Tryon Palace in New Bern. • • • Mr. and Mrs. George Yancey entertained their children and fam ilies at a dinner last week. Present were the Crafton Yanceys, the Har vey Yanceys, the Dick Yanceys and the David Hites. • * • Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Thomas during the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Thomas and family of Greensboro, Mr. and Mrs. J.
