The 23-year-old lieutenant is a 1961 graduate of Southwood High School and received a B. sttruasisnQi University. Kinston Girl's Mate Promoted to Major Henry A. Dwight, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Dwight of Genesse, Pa., has been pro moted to major in' the Air Force. Major Dwight is. a B-52 Strato Fortress aircraft commander at Grand Forks AFB, N. D. Major Dwight is a graduate of Kane (Pa.) Joint Area High School. He received his bachelor of general education degree from the University of Omaha. His wife, Peggy, is the daugh er of Mr. and Mrs. Kirby D. Hawkins of 1000 Oriental Ave., Kinston. Small Grain Test Plots on Sutton Sand Hill Farm One of the official small grain variety tests conducted by State University is located on the farm of Joel Sutton, Route 6, Kinston (Sand Hill Township). Several varieties and promis ing new breeding lines of wheat oats, and barley are included in this test. A group of University repre sentatives and commercial peo ple will visit this test on Thurs day afternoon, May 26, at 2:30. Interested farmers in the local area are cordially invited to join them at this field meeting. In addition to observing the test, the various individuals from State University and the seed companies will be glad to answer any questions farmers may have about small grain.
