They visited many points of interest all along the Blue Ridge Parkway to Roanoke, Va., stopping first at Mt. Mitchell. Walter Croy, who is stationed with the naval accounting office in Norfolk, Va.. spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Croy of Grovemont. Mrs. George Council of Bee Tree road left last Sunday by plane for Mexico City where she will visit her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Disabatino and family. Mrs. Council expects to be joined in a few days by Mrs. Jane Croom of Asheville. The Rev. Wayne Smith and fam ily will be away on a two weeks’ vacation. They left Wednesday, July 9, for Shawnee, Okla., where Rev. Smith is to be a speaker at the national convention of the Free Will Baptists. Mrs. Robert Leonard of Green castle, Ind., is visiting her mother Mrs. Mary Stepp, for the month of July. * Mrs. Molly McCrain, who has been visiting her son and daugh ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. G. Mc Crain, left Sunday to visit a daughter in Portsmouth, Va., for several days.
