WE'RE HELPING TO MAKE OUR SWANNANOA - TOWN CAROLINA’S FINEST! THESE ARE PROJECTS OF THE SVVANNANOA WOMAN'S CLUB! The decorating of the large club room in the Community Club house is a project of the Woman’s club. The draperies were designed and hung by a professional interior decorator. The material is a heavy, flame proof cretonne with a country-side design on a cinnamon back ground. These are draw draperies extending 6" below the window sill. They are fully lined and completely cover the window for use in daytime showing of movies, etc. Wooden cornices complete the window dressing. The picture window in the east end of the room is 8 feet wide and affords a beautiful view of the mountains. There are five other windows in this room, all treated in the same manner. .ah._ The small club room in the West end of the Community Club house is also a pro ject of the Woman's club. The walls are painted light green and the draperies, installed by the same deco rator that did the large club room, are of lined sateen, having a cinnamon background, featuring painted balloons in soft colors. The floor is covered with a shade of light brown and cream tile; the same type of tile has been laid in the back hall and the lobby, making a total of 384 square feet of floor space covered.
