Due to the limited space it can only provide such essential items as eggs, milk, cottage cheese, break, fruit juice and a variety of canned goods besides such articles as soap, detergents, and tissue. On the counter beside the cash box is a small plastic bank that catches small change from purchases made by customers who want to increase the I Council treasury. You’d be surprised at the amount collected so far, bearing out the saying that “many a mickle makes a muckle.” Someone has come up with a' bright idea and has tacked a‘ sheet of paper on the bulletin board requesting that we post our name and car license number. In the past some of us have inadvertently left our car lights on (thanks to the tunnel)' when arriving home in broad day light. Now we hope some keen eye will spot this error in time to warn the owner who , we feel sure will appreciate being spared the in convenience of a dead battery by morning. Last week we had the largest attendance at the Social Hour. It seems to be catching on. Mabel Brouer read to us from a humorou little booklet “Relics On Clou 9”. It was amusing how it mirrored our own thoughts, feelings and actions. No longer are we Senior Citizens, retirees or just plain old folks but come under the dignified title of “Gericrats.” If enough interest can be aroused, the Craft Room should be the scene of activity next week. We are forming a \ class in woodcarving. There ‘ may be some in the Com munity who might like to join this class at a small charge. People person. -->( JACK MILBEE Know him? You ^ should.
