The resolution suggested that the government pay $1,245,437 due the United States on Dei 15 and then urge the conclusion of a new ac cord with the United States on war debts payments before June 15, 1933, when the next installment is due. College Students Given Physical Exam Girls Found to be Above Average in Physical Excellence by total Doctors. • Special to The Siav'v Boiling Springs, Dec. 6.- The young woftien of Boding Springs college have recently been given a physical examination which includ ed an examination of the eyes, ears, none, throat, teeth, blood pressure, heart and lungs. Miss Kneece, the clean of women, had felt for some rime that the physical welfare of the girls required such an examin ation but no definite steps had been taken until recently After consults, tion with both local and county physician it was decided to hold the examination on December 2 Those assisting were Dr. D. F Moore, county physician, Dr. Tom Gold. ear. eye. nose and throat spe cialist, Dr. A. Pitt. Beam, dental member of the county board of health and Dr. J. 7. Hamrick, local practioner. The record made by each physi cian show that the girls are above the average in physical excellence. Owing to the ideal climatic condi tions in this section of the state, the students of Boiling Springs have al ways had excellent health during the school year. However, provision lias been made for young women who may be confined to their rooms cn account of illness. The class of '32 donated to the college the money with which to begin an in firmary. Two rooms in a wing of the girls' dormitory were selected for this purpose. Necessary articles for the infirmary are being contri buted by friends of the school.
