Q. Little’* Si*ter Died At Age Of 83 'Gaffney ledger) Mrs. Frances Little Ross. 83. widow of Jake B. Ross. Cherokee county's first sheriff, died early yesterday morning at her home in Blacksburg. She suffered a stroke of apoplexy during the night anc. succumbed a few hours later. Mrs. Ross was a member of a prominent Cherokee county family. She was a sister of the late J. Q. Little, several times mayor of Gaff ney. and was an aunt of Chief of Police H. H. Lockhart, of this city. Her husband was a brother of M L., and W. H. Ross, of this city.
