I Iredell Convict* Make Escape Statesville, April 19.—Three white and three negro prisoners of Ire dell county jail cut the bars of a cell door and a window early yes terday and escaped Officers were searching for them tonight. The men used hacksaws to sever the bars. They escaped shortly be fore 5 a. m. All were awaiting trial at the next term of superior court. Officers said the three white men, who were in a cell on the Jail's second floor, cut four bars from their cell door, apparently came downstairs where they re leased the negroes, cut the grating protecting an outside window and fled Mr. and Mrs. C.
