Unique to the ceremony is a diversity

To Hold Spring
Vilmington Area
Parade will be held Saturday, starting
at noon. But this year's parade
will not follow a typical route through
downtown. Instead, it will begin on
Kerr Avenue, turn onto North Market
Street and proceed to New Center
Drive, where it will disband. A variety
of specialty units will be featured,
including the Sudan Thunderbolts
minicars from Brunswick County.
John Kopp of Bolivia is president of
the Brunswick County Shrine Club.
Another local shriner, Paul Daniels
of Southport, is Parker's chief aide
