First, I'd like to point out that "dues" is a word of the past. Money paid to the chambcr of commerce is an investment and, importantly, there is a definite return on your investment. Secondly, it is important to note that by invest ing in the. chambcr, you arc investing in yourself, your business and your community. Did you know that as a chambcr member, you fought several picccs of legislation this year that would have devastating effects on our area if passed? Did you know that you helped boost retail sales locally by promoting local shopping? Did you know that you increased tourism expen- SARTKl.l.K diturcs through promotion? Did you know that you helped make Brunswick the second fastest growing county in the state? Did you know that you helped small business persons to receive cd ucalion, assistance and recognition?
