The Parent-Teacher Association

Psalm.
Mrs. C. T. Skinner made a brief
but interesting talk on "Why Par
ents Visit the School," after which
Mrs. Broughton, the president, gave
a comprehensive report of the Dis
trict Meeting held recently at Cen
tral High School.
A group of girls from the Seventh
Grade contributed an entertainment
number, followed by the business ses
sion, during which Miss Mary Sum
ner, the principal, urged the parents
to watch the health of their children,
and if possible see that their eyes
were in good condition. Parents
were also urged to attend the Parent
Teacher meetings regularly.
A committee was named to appear
before the Board of Education and
request that something be done about
the walks on each side of the build
ing. These walks, where children get
in line to march into the building,
are unpaved and in bad condition.
At the end of that on the west eide
the county buses load and unload
and it is believed that it is particu
larly necessary that something be
done to improve the condition.
Have I Been Introduced to You, Mister?
If I have and do not remember your name
wheripu enter my store on Tuesday, October
