Perry, and other relatives, has re turned to his camp at Columbia, South Carolina. In Hospital James Boyce is confined in a Naval hospital at Philadelphia, where he is undergoing treatment. At Bainbridge ' William Elliott and Paul Russell arrived at Bainbridge, Md., where they will receive their 'boot training with the U. S. Navy. Sunday In Fayetteville Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Byrum, Pvt. and Mrs. Elwood Perry spent Sunday in Fayettevifle and Fort Bragg. Pvt. Perry is stationed at Fort Bragg. John son here a few days this week after returning from Nags Head, where he visited his mother, Mrs. Charles Johnson, at her cottage. In New York J. H. At Red Springs Miss Elizabeth Stephens is the guest this week of friends in Red Springs. Washington Guest Jimmy Clark of Washington, D. C, is spending some time with his grandmother, Mrs. Jane Campen. In Cleveland Miss Elizabeth Fowler left Sun day for Cleveland, Ohio, where she went for observation at a hospital. Visits Sister Mrs. Osmond Yarborough of Louisburg, N. C, spent several days last week visiting her sister, Miss Kate Blanchard. From Savannah Mrs. Louis Cutler and daughter Katherine of Savannah, Ga., are the guests of Miss Mary Lassiter. From Charleston Mrs. John Dobson of Charleston, W.
