Belvidere, North Carolina. The Recorders Reports from each of the 14 areas of Policy Sessions were given which called for by Douglas Sawyer. The Chief Recorders Report was given by Mr. James H. Towns, Acting Assistant to the president. The Draft Proposed Platform for North Carolina was presented oy Mr. Wesley B. Cullipher, Chairman of Albemarle Regional Planning and Development Commission, Elizabeth City, N.C. This report was approved by Region R Delegation. Mrs. R.S. Monds, a member of North Carolina Governor's Coordinating Council on Aging Advisory Committee recognized the visitors. Snecial letters of Congratulations from Governor Robert W. Scott of North Carolina, Dr. Preston, Gover nors' Coordinating Council on Aging, Dr. John B. Martin, Special Assistant to the President for Aging, Mr. R.E. On that same date in 1971, Tar Heels had filed 340,000 returns but had made only 8,248 filing errors - a vast improvement.
