r Mrs. R.M. Harris, Isenhour : Are Married The wedding of Miss Beth Harris and Mr. . Robert McFarland. Isenhour was solemnized Saturday, June 29 at 4 p.m. at the University United Methodist Church,, Chapel Hill The Rev. Charles M. Smith per formed the double ring ceremony in a setting of white altar flowers, greenery and . candlelight. Wedding music was played by Dr. Eleanor McCrickard, church organist. v The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse L. Harris of Hertford.. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. James W. Goldsmith of Washington, N.C. The bride, given, in , marriage by her father; wore the traditional gown of - white imported organza. The empire ' bodice was styled with a high Victorian neckline and cap sleeves. The A-line skirt; which . flowed to a semi-Cathedral r train, was bordered "' with' peau d'ange lace. Peau d'ange lace and cotton Ben ise lace were appliqued to the entire gown. Her veil was a mantilla of Brussels lace, purchased by the bride when she toured Europe. ' ' The bride is a -1966 f graduate of Perquimans County High School and attended St. Mary's Junior College in Raleigh, and holds a B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For the past three years, she has been, a special education teacher at Perquimans ', County High School. The groom graduated from high school in , Washington, N.C. He also is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a member ' of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He served with the Air Force in Viet Nam. He is now vice-president of ' a management consulting firm, with headquarters in New York City.
