Mrs. Underwood demon strated making placemats with cards and pictures using wallpaper backing, then gluing the pictures and cards in place and covering them with clear contact paper. She had several at tractive placemats and Christmas card ideas to show the members. She also showed a casserole dish carrier made of quilted material designed to fit the dish to keep food warm with handles to carry it. She brought "corn dollies" made by Becky Hobbs and her sister. The art was learned while recently visiting in England.
