Lewis - Dale Exchange Vows Mies Bridget Dale became the bride of George Lewis Dec. 17 at Bethel Baptist Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Worth W. Dale of Rt. 2, Hertford, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Lewis of Snug Harbor. Rev. Stanley Nixon of ficiated at the double ring ceremony. Nuptial music was presented by Mrs. Cathy Mums, organist. Miss Patsy Cohoon of Hertford was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Joy Applegate of Gates ville, sister of the bride; Miss Ann Wiiislow of Hert ford, and Mrs. Rhonda McGinnis of Snug Harbor. Jack Trout of Fayette ville served as best man and ushers were Blair McGinnis of Snug Harbor, Clarence Brown of Hert ford, and Daryl Shively of Fayetteville. Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Snug Harbor Clubhouse. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis left for a wedding trip to un announced points and upon their return will make their home in Fayetteville. Mrs. Lewis is a graduate of Perquimans County High School and has been attend ing the College of the Albemarle. Pfc. Lewis is a graduate of Perquimans High School and is sta tioned with the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville. BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT Mr. and Mrs. William F. Burke of Hertford an nounce the birth oi their first son, Christopher Franklin Burke, born N?y. 19 at Chowan Hospital. The paternal grandfather is Clarence Burke Sr. of Hertford. Wedding Planned Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Owens of Edenton, an nounce the engagement and marriage of their daughter Pamela Elaine Owens, to Keith Webb Haskett Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith W. Haskett of Hertford. The wedding it planned for Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Eden ton Baptist Church. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
