The Perquimans Coun ty Parks and Recreation Department and the Albemarle Babe Ruth League sponsored the French's Pitch, Hit and Run Contest Tuesday night between the Albemarle Babe Ruth League games in Hertford. Winner in each division were* 13 years old Emraett Winslow, first place; Tommy Tilley and Steven Harrison second place; 14 year olds David White, first place; and Donnie Parker, se cond place; 15 year olds first place Jay Gregory and there was a three way tie for second place. The winners will com pete in the District 28, j Pitch, Hit and Run to be held in Currituck the fir week of July. SUMMER SCHOOL Perquimans High School will offer a free summer school beginning July 2.
