John E. Piland, 80, of Rt. 2, BOX 423, Hertford, was arrested June 6 and charged with sec ond degree trespassing. Kelvin Capehart Bembury, 42, of Rt. 1, Box 196,196 Bunker Hill Rd., Camden, was arrested June 7 and charged with fail ure to appear. Bond was set at $2,500, secured. William Lee Payton, 73, of Rf. 2, Box 346, P.O. Box 86, Winfall, was arrested June 10 add charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine and maintain place for controlled substance. Bond was set at $15,000, unsecured. Melody Jane Thomas- English, 38, of Rt. 3, Box 401-H, Hertford, was arrested June 10 and charged with worthless check. Selma Chappell, 48, of 201 Woodland Circle, Hertford, was arrested June 10 and charged with worthless check. Bryan William Randolph, 16, of Rt. 3, Box 596, Hertford, was arrested June 10 and charged with possession of malt bever age, not being 19/20 years of age. (udder 18 y.o.a.) Bond was set at $300, secured. Linda B. Ball, 50, of Rt. 2, Box 66-K, Edenton, was arrest ed June 10 and charged with worthless check. She was released on a written promise to appear. Marcell Tyshaun Ford, 19, of Lot 32, Dogwood MHP, Hertford was arrested June 11 and charged with assault to inflict injury and injury to real and personal property. Bond was set at $900, unsecured. : Raleigh Purnell Morris, 47, of Rt. 1, Box 121, Belvidere, was arrested June 13 and charged with 2nd degree burglary. Bond HRD classes set 'College of The Albemarle’s Human Resources Development Program (HRD) will offer a free class on Ediployability Skills at COA’s Chowan Center July 6-30, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. This class is designed to pre pare students to enter or re enter the work force with effec tive employability skills. These skills include completing job applications, writing resumes, handling job interviews, job search and job keeping strate gies. Milton Lee Combs, 41, of 237 Hurdletown Rd., Hertford, was arrested June 14 and charged with assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats. Bond was set at $8,000, unse cured. James Matthew Kitchen, 23, of 226 Pivar Rd., Beaufort, was arrested June 15 and charged with a probation violation. Mitchel Van Harris, 45, of Rt. 1, Box 218, Belvidere, was arrested June 17 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Lucy Farrow Rascoe, 39, of P.O. Box 581, Hurdletown Rd., Hertford, was arrested June 17 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $500, unsecured. Lorenzo Marice Farrow, 21, of 237 Hurdletown Rd., Hertford, was arrested June 17 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $500, unsecured. Hertford Police Devon Reece Johnson, 30, of Rt. 2, Box 87-A, Edenton, was arrested May 12 and charged with resisting, obstructing, carrying a concealed weapon, no operators license, and pro bation violation. Bond was set .at $1,600, secured. Gina White, 41, of 107 Pine Ridge Rd., Hertford, was arrested May 7 and charged with ordinance #9. She was released on a written promise to appear. Sharay Williams, 17, of 324 King St., Hertford, was arrest ed May 7 and charged with Ordinance #9. Shelma Clay Miller Jr., 20, of 119 Wynn Fork Ct., Hertford, was arrested May 12 and charged with communicating threats. Banzollar Lee, 30, of Rt. 5, Box 36-T, Hertford, was arrest ed May 17 and charged with communicating threats.. Bond was set at $500 unsecured. Tony Hunter Meads, 29, of Rt. 2, Box 989G, Hertford, was arrested May 17 and charged with communicating threats. He was released on a written promise to appear. Joseph Irvan Meads, 68, of Rt. 7, Box 990, Hertford, was arrested May 17 and charged with communicating threats. He was released on a written promise to appear. Richard Allen Williams Jr., 22, of 315 Stokes Dr., Hertford, was arrested May 16 and charged with a stop light viola tion. Robert Kevin Wellbrock, 24, of Rt. 2, Box 424, Hertford, was arrested May 17 and charged with injury to personal proper ty and communicating threats. He was ordered held for 24 hours. Vashawn Kereem Foreman, 17, of Rt. 5, Box 82A, Hertford, was arrested May 17 and charged with possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $3,000 unsecured. Reginald Stanford Bowling, 27, of 209 Edenton Road St., P.O. Box 211, Hertford, was arrested May 27 and charged with assault on a female. He was ordered held for 48 hours. Sherwin Allen Spruill, 17, of Rt. 2, Box 82, Edenton, was arrested May 26 and charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver. Bond was set at $3,000, unsecured. Charles Donnell White, 45, of Lot 44, Meads MHP, Hertford, was arrested May 28 and charged with communicating threats, and harassing phone calls. Bond was set at $5,000, secured. Two of the six living charter members joined the celebra tion, charter president Floyd Matthews and George Baker. Each received plaques and pins from Ruritan National President Rick Poff, who was assisted by local president Gil Underwood. Also on hand for the occa sion were National Director Donise Ayers, national Treasurer George Winslow, National Foundation Chairman Robin Davenport, past National President Frank Guthrie, past National Directors Willis Proctor and Harry Lee Winslow, and District Governor Fostir Parrish.
